I have over 19 years of design and advertising management experience and using various design, layout, and presentation programs, including Adobe Creative Suite, Corel Draw, QuarkXpress and DreamWeaver, plus skills in hand-coding web sites. I have positive human relation skills and have managed a creative department for the last 10 years. Over the years I have worked with the University of Florida, a Regional Planning Council, and for the last 13 years, for Aware Communications, Inc. where I designed and managed creative projects sponsored by companies such as S.C. Johnson (Edge and Skintimate shave gels, Glade Plug-ins, Pledge furniture polish), Craftsman Tools, Bosch Power Tools, Carhartt (Work Clothing), Energizer (Schick Razors), Spectrum Brands(Cutter Insect Repellent), Blistex (Blistex Lip Balms and Stridex Skin products), Bausch & Lomb (Moisture Drops and Curel lotion), Bic (Comfort3 Razors), as well as the U.S. Air Force, the U.S. Navy, the U.S. Air National Guard and more. I have degrees in both Graphic Design Technology and Communications and Advertising Management with a minor in both studio and creative photography. Before my creative career, I had thoughts of (and classes for) becoming a microbiologist. I am someone who is equally left and right brained. This allows me to be creative while keeping an eye on the bottom line and the overall goal of any project. Plus I will never get offended by someone's suggestions regarding a project — I’m here to work with you and not against you.
